This is the '74 Apollo that
I wrote you about last year that had the VIN
which indicated it was built
in Kansas City, MO. Bought it from an elderly
gentleman and have been driving
it regularly for the past year. Had the trans
(TH350) rebuilt last fall
after it started leaking like a sieve. Other than
that, runs great and all I've
had to do to it is the routine stuff (replace
hoses, belts, etc.). Motor
is a Buick 350.
As you can see, I would like
to find a grille. May be difficult to find a
cheap plastic grille that
has lasted 25 years. Also, the trim came unglued,
probably years ago. Dealer
logo indicates it was purchased in New Jersey,
spent a lot of time in Ohio
(Ohio winters are death to auto bodies, it seems
to have endured pretty well).
Not restored and not a hot
rod, but feel free to use these on your website.
The kids and I love the car
and I plan on keeping it on the road for awhile!
